Build the Jira backlog
We turn priorities, technical debt, project follow-through, and new requests into one ordered backlog with clear outcomes.
Support and Advisory is a monthly pool of hands-on engineering and technical guidance. We plan a shared Jira backlog together, choose the priorities for the month, and deliver the work during your team’s business hours. Use it for migration and modernization, Terraform, CI/CD, GitOps, security, cost, platform engineering, or the next problem on the backlog.
Recurring engineering capacity—not monitoring, incident response, a service desk, or a 24x7 pager.
We turn priorities, technical debt, project follow-through, and new requests into one ordered backlog with clear outcomes.
You choose the committed hours. Together we select the work that fits and identify the decisions or access needed to keep it moving.
Work lands in your AWS accounts and repositories as it is produced. Your team keeps control of the platform and priorities.
Weekly written status shows hours used, work completed, work in progress, and the next items to pull.
Start at 10 hours. Choose any whole-hour amount, including larger pools beyond 80 hours. Longer terms lower the monthly fee.
The $350/hr base rate also applies to 100, 200, or any larger confirmed monthly pool.
Choose the hours you need. Commit to any whole-hour monthly pool starting at 10 hours. The pool size selects one rate, and that rate applies to every committed hour. A 30-hour pool is 30 × $450/hour = $13,500/month before term savings.
Choose the term. 3 months at the standard price; 6 months saves 5%; 12 months saves 10%; and 24 months saves 15%. When the next threshold provides more hours for a lower monthly fee, Uptempo recommends the better-value pool.
After the term. Renew for another fixed term or the same committed hours continue month to month at that pool’s standard undiscounted rate: 10–19 hours at $500/hr, 20–39 at $450/hr, 40–79 at $400/hr, and 80+ at $350/hr. Unused hours do not roll over. Approved current-month additional hours require written approval and use the hourly rate in effect for the current pool and term, including any active fixed-term savings. During month-to-month continuation, they use the pool’s standard undiscounted rate. The monthly pool can instead be increased for a future cycle.
Current pricing for new Support and Advisory engagements as of July 17, 2026. Existing signed agreements keep their current terms unless amended in writing.
All published prices are in U.S. dollars (USD).
Renewal, notice, commitment changes, and other final terms are stated in the signed agreement.
Each engagement has a named senior engineering lead. Uptempo confirms the skills, schedule, and capacity required for the monthly pool before accepting it. Additional qualified senior engineers may be assigned when larger pools or parallel workstreams require them.
When selected, a private engagement channel supports day-to-day coordination and stays separate from the public Slack Community.
Need 100, 200, or more hours per month? The 80+ base rate applies, with the same term savings. We confirm the delivery plan and assigned capacity before the engagement begins.
Yes—when Managed DevOps means recurring hands-on AWS and DevOps engineering against a backlog you own. It does not include monitoring, pager duty, incident response, a service desk, or an uptime SLA.
